Mirah started capturing images in highschool during photography class more out of curiosity than interest and gradually grew to appreciate the complex art of snapping a shot. She started photographing regularly in 2005 while living in London, driven by the drastic change in scenery, culture, and lifestyle. Currently, Mirah photographs whenever and wherever she can in Sacramento, California where she now lives and works. She is involved in several projects in the local film, theatre and music scene and plans to tour Europe in the springtime with the band III Ease. You can contact her at mirahlucas@gmail.com
(Re)Morse Code
Piccadilly Circus is a central London hotbed of movie theaters, clubs and
casinos. There's never a quiet moment in Piccadilly. The double decker bus came into my shot on accident, and startled me, which ended up working for the composition.

Separations
I was visiting some friends in the small sleepy English town of Exmouth, about 4
hours Southeast of London. I saw these three benches on this lot of land, and they weren't facing anything of note. They were just there, which I thought was strange, so I decided to take a photo. The daylight was just perfect, and the grass was immensely green.
